Benevolent Ministry
The Benevolent Ministry provides financial support and other resources to families and individuals in need, including Central disciples and people from the general community. This ministry manages the funds used to purchase food for funeral repasts and Crisis Intervention Ministry meals and groceries. It is also the primary funding source for Central’s Thanksgiving Give-Away, an annual event coordinated with the St. Louis Public School system. Given the confidential nature of the Benevolent Ministry, individuals with social work or social service background are usually asked to serve.
