The RAE is the position that is most like the FOH without the interaction with the band. RAE will be in an enclosed, sound-proof room creating mix specifically for recording; audio and video. This position requires an understanding of mixing, processing and basic audio routing. The RAE will also be responsible for physically recording to the final medium (CD) and duplicating the final product on a weekly basis. The RAE is a good starting position for a future FOH.
