2011 Contribution Discrepancies

Because several Central disciples have contacted the church office regarding discrepancies on the 2011 contribution statements, We want to clarify our policies and procedures for collecting and recording tithes and offerings:
- Money collected by the deacons every Sunday is taken to a secure location where it is removed from offering envelopes and counted. The church office staff does not receive, nor count the money.
- Every Monday morning, our office staff receives the envelopes that were collected the previous day; they are stamped with the date that the envelope was received, not the date recorded on your check. The information on the envelopes is recorded in the church database.
